Appropriation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
by non-state French actors
After a first report regarding the appropriation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by non-state French actors in 2017, more than 80 organisations contributed to the second edition of the report, coordinated by the Comité 21 and 18 co-pilots.
Three years after adopting the 2030 Agenda and two years prior to the UN’s first large assessment planned for 2020, this report establishes an analysis of the French organisations’ appreciation and use of the SDGs either in France or in foreign countries. Two complementary analyses form the report: the first is a study of each specific actor while the second focuses on the six SDGs that will be reviewed by the UN during the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) which takes place in New-York from the 9th to the 18th July 2018.
This report is a contribution to the 2018 HLPF and will be annexed to the official waypoint that France will give to the UN in July. This report is the result of the collaboration of a considerable part of civil society and will serve as a contribution to the elaboration of the 2019-2030 national roadmaps for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in France. This second edition will officially be launched on the morning of the 2nd of July at the ministry of Ecological and solidarity transition in the presence of the co-pilots and contributors. 140 pages.
