Technical note on the outcome of the climate negotiations (COP 28)
COP 28, held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2023, brought together three major decision-making bodies (COP 28, CMA 5, CMP 18) and the two subsidiary bodies (Subsidiary Body for Implementation [SBI 59], Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice [SBSTA 59]), bringing together over 97,000 participants. It produced key results such as the first global assessment, just transition, the loss and damage fund, and the global adaptation target.
