    SUNNY

    Gathering 17 partners from 3 African, 5 European countries and 2 associated countries, SUNNY is a 48-months project that aims to provide highly replicable solutions for green energy transition and energy access in Africa. To reach that goal, five Renewable Energy Technologies, reaching TRL 7-8 will be improved, adapted to the local context and demonstrated in two sites in Uganda and Rwanda, reaching around 1300 refugees and persons in the local host populations.

    RECinMED

    RECinMED, involving 11 partners from 9 countries, aims to foster inclusive Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) by testing innovative solutions. It will create a transnational cooperation forum to enhance networks and knowledge sharing on energy communities. Three Working Groups will focus on pilot actions in urban, rural, and island contexts, addressing specific challenges in each area. The goal is to identify, validate, and scale solutions for energy transition across different regions, ensuring broader adoption and positive environmental impact.

    FEDECOM

    FEDECOM brings together 17 partners from 7 European countries to develop a cloud-based blockchain platform, managing multiple energy communities and facilitating the exchange of surplus energy within and between communities. Using predictive modeling and load profiling data aggregation, the platform optimizes consumption, savings and the coordinated use of flexibility assets such as batteries and thermal storage systems. It is currently being tested in three large-scale pilot projects in Spain, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.

  • Climate changeBiodiversity

    LEAF

    The LEAF project is a collaboration of 6 schools and non-governmental organizations from Greece, Italy, France, Romania, Serbia, and Croatia. The goal of the project is the development of an innovative methodology for engaging students in the community in order to monitor the biodiversity of plants, in accordance with the principles of service learning. By involving students in local biodiversity monitoring and community action, LEAF empowers young people with the skills and awareness to contribute actively to conservation and sustainability goals, fostering a generation committed to preserving biodiversity.
