A lawyer by training and a former banking professional, Jeanne Carlier embodies civic engagement in the fight against climate change, the protection of biodiversity, and intergenerational solidarity. As a grandmother deeply attuned to today’s global challenges, she advocates for bringing solidarity back to the heart of our societies and raising awareness among both young and older generations about the importance of a sustainable and equitable future.
Deeply committed to preserving culture and heritage, Jeanne has spearheaded initiatives to host artists in Latin America, providing spaces conducive to creativity and freedom of expression. She actively supports cultural creation as a powerful tool for raising awareness and driving positive change.
With heightened sensitivity to environmental and social issues, Jeanne exemplifies engaged and action-oriented citizenship. Her deeply humanistic approach highlights the importance of fostering dialogue between generations, where transmission and solidarity intertwine to shape a future rooted in social and environmental justice. This vision is reflected in her active participation within the ENERGIES 2050 association.
Her work focuses particularly on gender issues and the fight against violence against children and women. She strongly advocates for an inclusive and compassionate approach, convinced that empowering women and ensuring their active participation are essential to building fairer and more resilient societies.
After several years of collaboration with the association, Jeanne joined in 2024 the Board of Directors to amplify her efforts and contribute to the impact of its actions.
