Our impact
The initiative
ETHICARBON® enables every citizen, association, company, town or other entity to assess and offset their greenhouse gas emissions by helping to support and finance ethical, solidarity-based projects in countries most vulnerable to climate change.
ETHICARBON® helps to raise global awareness about climate change and the impact of our production and consumption patterns, while giving everyone the resources to take concrete, transparent action.

ETHICARBON® is based on participatory financing proportionate to the carbon footprint of each “contributor”. Funds donated to this initiative are managed transparently and used to finance projects selected for their high added value in terms of socio-economic, adaptation and/or mitigation benefits. The entire self-assessment chain, from collection to project or activity implementation, is transparent and meets international Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) criteria.
ETHICARBON® has a dual objective: firstly, to raise awareness among all users, whatever their country of origin or situation, about the impact of their activities on the climate, and to encourage them to adopt production and consumption patterns that are more sober in terms of carbon and natural resources. ETHICARBON® also aims to financially support projects with high added value in the most vulnerable communities and countries, through mechanisms linked to solidarity, offsetting and carbon finance.
