LEF ISSUE 88-89

« En route to Rio+20 »

ENERGIES 2050 participated in the issue of the Liaison Energie Francophonie (EWL) of the Institute of Energy and Environment of the Francophonie (IEPF), issues 88-89 (2nd quarter 2011).

This issue entitled “En route to Rio + 20” is intended to inform all relevant stakeholders of the challenges of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development – UN-UNDP – to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 2012 (Conference also called Rio + 20). It is also a matter of facilitating the participation, in form and in the fund, in the preparatory process of the Conference so that everyone can actively participate in the decision-making process.

Mr. Stéphane POUFFARY, Founder and Honorary President of ENERGIES 2050, coordinates this issue as guest co-editor alongside Mr. Mame Aly KONTE, Environment Reporter in Senegal and Mr. Sibi BONFILS, consultant and former Deputy Director of IEPF.

With the other two guest editors, Mr. Stéphane POUFFARY co-signs the editorial. He also co-authored with Professor Hartmut MARHOLD a box entitled “For Sustainable Governance”. He also signs a fund article on “Cities, Laboratories of Sustainable Development: Issues of a Rio + 20 Urban and Social”.

ENERGIES 2050, for its part, signs a fund article entitled “On the Road to Rio + 20: Challenges and Challenges of the World Conference on Sustainable Development 2012”.

What is the Revue Revue Liaison Énergie-Francophonie?

The purpose of the journal LEF, published by IEPF, a subsidiary body of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), is to provide information to the various categories of development actors in the Francophone the energy and environment sectors for sustainable development. It is disseminated by post and electronic means to more than 4,000 decision-makers from government, scientific, industrial and civil society circles and is also available on the IEPF website.
