The Mediterranean is one of the “hotspots” of our planet and the consequences of climate change will be stronger there than elsewhere. The reduction in the source of GHG emissions, as well as taking into account the adaptation needs of the riparian countries, is part of an international agenda. These initiatives are carried out by many actors within the perimeter of the Mediterranean area. This conference will aim to highlight the issues and challenges shared in the face of conflicting interests around a common sea … It will be an opportunity to debate and share to implement low carbon strategies aimed at shared development. Joint initiatives and dynamics on adaptation will also be presented.
