Francophone consultation during the Bonn Climate Change Conference on the state of negotiations
Extract from the OIF / IFDD website As part of the preparations for the 23rd Conference of the Parties (COP23) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to be held in Bonn, Germany (6-17 November 2017), the forty-sixth session The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI46) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA 46) and the third part of the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Paris Agreement (APA 1-3) started on 8 May 2017 in Bonn, Germany, to end on 18 May 2017. The aim of this session is to take stock of a number of relevant aspects of the Convention and the Paris Agreement. During this session, the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), through its subsidiary body, the Francophonie Institute for Sustainable Development (IFDD), organizes a French-speaking conference on 11 May at the Hotel Kanzler.
