The Pan African Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG-Afrique), * organizes from 3 to 5 July 2017 the 1st General Assembly of the Network of Technical Directors of Cities and Territories of Africa and the launch of the Plenary of the network ” Africa TechNet “. In April 2017, UCLG Africa and ENERGIES 2050 signed a protocol to strengthen the capacity of African cities and territories to take action against climate change and sustainable urban development in Africa. A task force has been set up for this purpose. As a well-known and recognized player in climate and sustainable development issues, ENERGIES 2050 participates in this meeting as a member of the Task Force set up by UCLG Africa. ENERGIES 2050 will also provide training for the Directors of Technical Services in the cities and territories of Africa on climate issues. At this event, 44 countries and more than 100 participants are present. * UCLG Afrique – brings together 40 national associations of local authorities from all regions of Africa, as well as 2000 cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants.
