1st Citizen Forum for Sustainable Development
Valbonne Sophia Antipolis
The city of Sophia-Antipolis, following on from the updating of its City Project to 2020, is launching a Sustainable Development initiative. The objective is to create coherence through this citizen’s approach so that the inhabitants of the international technopole Valbonne Sophia-Antipolis can collectively build a shared future.
This citizen concertation initiative is fully in line with the ENERGIES 2050 approach. Our ambition is to put the citizen at the heart of the debate. It is a question of being able to place our actions at the local level – the anchor of all implementation and the laboratory of the actions to be elaborated – and at the global level in order to repeat the exemplary experiences while benefiting from the lessons learned from the unsuccessful experiences.
This Forum aims to be family and playful. It will be articulated in two parallel events. For the little ones, they can feast on watching the show “Council of the Worlds” by the company Atkas on the theme of biodiversity. The big ones will be able to exchange with the Senator-Mayor Marc Daunis, elected representatives of the neighboring communes and the founding President of ENERGIES 2050, Stéphane Pouffary. Animation will be provided by Stéphane Quefelec and Stéphane Bouissou from ENERGIES 2050, assisted by students from the University of Nice – Sophia-Antipolis (Master Pro2 GEDD “Management of the Environment and Sustainable Development” and Specialized Master “Sustainable Development “). Do not hesitate to come and talk with us!
