10th National Week of Sustainable Development 3 Conferences – Debates

The 2012 edition of the National Sustainable Development Week, organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing, will take place from April 1 to 7 and will focus on citizen information. The ENERGIES 2050 Association is organizing a series of 3 lectures and debates for students, professionals and the general public on April 3, 5 and 6, 2012 in partnership with:

– The School of Polytechnic Engineer Paoli Tech ‘of the University of Corsica Pasquale Paoli;
– The Master 2 GEDD – Management of the Environment and Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis; – The LIRCES Laboratory (Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Stories, Cultures and Societies – LIRCES EA 3159) of the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis;
– Master 2 “Water, Societies and Sustainable Development, Social Management of Water and Institutional Mediation”: Course 4 of the Master of Ethnology “Transformations of Contemporary Societies” of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Humanities of Nice Sophia Antipolis;
– The green plan pole of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.

The purpose of these free events is to promote and exchange views on the principles of sustainable development. The goal is to enjoy the lunch break to debate for just over an hour. These conferences and debates will bring together a stakeholder from civil society (ENERGIES 2050), academics (scientific training, social science research, Green Plan) and students. An interactive debate will be held with the public in amphitheatres on the different areas of consumption, green employment, training, sustainable urban planning, energy, waste, habitat, transport, biodiversity , food, water, tourism, leisure, corporate social responsibility, etc. Participants will be invited to bring their sandwich to have lunch while listening and discussing with the speakers. Thursday, April 5th – 12h30 to 13h45 – Campus Carlone – Nice University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis – Faculty of Arts and Humanities – 98 boulevard Edouard Herriot – Building E – Amphitheater 112 (120 places)
Friday April 6th – 12h30 to 13h45 – Campus Valrose – Nice University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis – Faculty of Sciences – Valrose Park – 28 Avenue Valrose – Natural Science Amphitheater (300 places)
